Tickets and tables are selling fast for the social highlight of the journalistic world – the annual London Press Club Ball. Don’t miss out.

This year’s LPC Ball will take place on Thursday 13th October, 2011 at the Natural History Museum – hosted this year by distinguished news presenter and ‘national treasure’  Moira Stuart.

The Ball has raised more than  £240,000 for the Journalists’ Charity over the last seven years. It is a glittering, upmarket event attended by chief executives, editors, journalists, television presenters and programme makers from the major national newspapers,  TV,  and media companies – whether in print, on air or online.

Held in the Great Hall of the Natural History Museum and hosted in the past by high-profile presenters including Jeremy Vine, Katie Derham, Mary Nightingale, Daisy McAndrew and Kate Silverton, the Press Club Ball has become a hugely popular event and a ‘must’ for the movers and shakers of the modern media.

The highlight of the evening is the “Money Can’t Buy” auction which helps raise funds for the Journalists’ Charity.

In previous years auctioneers have included Nick Bonham, Lord Dalmeny of Sotherby’s, Hugh Edmeades of Christies, Christopher Biggins, James Braxon from ‘Bargain Hunt’ and Chris Tarrant of ‘Who wants to be a millionaire?’.
